Visits & visitors

Lots of classes have been involved in visits this term - many of them linked to our Victorian themed week.

2L & 2W were learning about Grace Darling and her brave rescue so we went to the lifeboat station to see how people are rescued today!
2L & 2W also visited Exmouth museum to learn more about how people lived during Victorian times. We played with Victorian toys, looked at photos from old Exmouth and saw a Victorian living room and kitchen.

On the way back from the town, we visited the play park and 'tested' the equipment. We have been making miniture parks in our technology!
Children in year 3 and 4 were lucky enough to go on a visit to Tiverton museum to support their work on Victorians. A great time was had by all and the knowledge gained was fantastic.

Year 5 and 6 children looked at Victorian features around our town and saw how changes have been made since Victorian times. They also visited Exmouth museum to extend their knowledge and understanding.
