Here at Marpool we think it is important to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum. This year we are planning to have a 'themed' week each half term. The whole school will share a common focus for the work undertaken throughout the week.

Earlier this term the school enjoyed a week studying Victorians. All children were involved in many exciting activities to develop their knowledge and understanding of Victorian life. Many of us went on school visits - some to the lifeboat station and other to a museum.

At the end of the week the kitchen staff cooked us a traditional Victorian dinner, meat pie followed by rice pudding! Very tasty!
Many of us also took the opportunity to 'dress up' as Victorians. The costumes were fabulous!
Well done to everybody for making this such a fun and productive week.
