Chelsea has used Dazzle Plus, a drawing programme to create a repeating pattern in her computer lessons.

We have on loan from Devon Music Advisory Team, for one term, a set of Taiko Drums.

Taiko Drums come from Japan and were developed as a music and dance arts format in the early 1950's.The children in years 3 and 4  are enjoying this opportunity to use the drums and  it has been well supported by enthusiastic staff to try something new.

Melannie has been working hard in class 4H to draft and produce this final version of her own fable. have a read. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The Fairy and the Disappearing Glowworm

In a land far, far away a fairy called Jazmin

lived in the woods in Phear Park , Exmouth.

She didn’t have any friends only a slowworm

called Finn. The fairy’s mum and sister didn’t

like her. So they left her in the park with no

food or drink. Jazmin made friends with Finn

a worm. They played together. Jazmin would give free fairy rides. Jazmin wanted to go to the fairy ball but did not have an out fit so Finn the worm let her use his glow worm out fit. Jazmin went to the fairy ball and had a good time. It may sound odd but the worm and the fairy fell in love and married. So if you don’t see a glow worm don’t worry he may have lent his clothes to a fairy.
